Downhill runner who when needed can break a long run. Plays with great power and gets every yard possible. Not afraid of contact and welcomes defenders. Johnsons has Le'Veon Bell type patience, he sets up his blockers until he finds his hole. Johnsons also brings value as a receiver, and can instantly be a three down back for any team.
Weaknesses:
Played this past season mostly injured, his running style and lengthy frame brings a concern with injuries. Has excellent patience but can sometimes wait too long and lacks urgency. Doesn’t have elite athleticism, and won’t consistently win with speed.
